The work to be done under this contract shall consist of loading, hauling & spreading aggregate materials from various pits within the municipality & located at: SE 10-53-11-W3 (hereinafter referred to as the "River Pit") SE 11-54-12-W3 (hereinafter referred to as the "Unruh Pit") SE 28-53-09-W3 (hereinafter referred to as the "Friesen Pit") SE 17-50-08-W3 (hereinafter referred to as the "RM/Diesen Pit") The aggregate materials shall be loaded, hauled and spread on municipal roads. All materials shall be hauled with a minimum of three (3) truck & trailer units. The work is to be done between June 1, 2025 & August 31, 2026 and will be continuous until completed, with the exception of inclement weather. The Gravel Haul will be divided into a north zone & a south zone and will be awarded to two (2) separate bidders of which each bidder will be responsible for ½ of the municipality or approximately 12,000 - 13,000 cubic yards of gravel each. Tender submissions shall be based on legal weights. Primary weights will only be allowed on primary haul roads. All other roads in the municipality are secondary weights.
