Renovation of a playground / park / athletic field in Tecumseh, Kansas. Completed plans call for the renovation of a playground / park / athletic field.

HVAC improvements at a location in Tecumseh, KS. Bidders should direct any questions pertaining to the bid to Whitney Henle at whenle@lcgway.com or 785.210.4148. The scope of work includes construction, labor, equipment, and all associated materials for the replacement and installation HVAC System Questions can be directed via email to whenle@lcgway.com. Questions must be submitted by 5:00 p.m. February 18th, 2026. Questions will not be taken verbally or in person. Answers to all questions will be added to this invitation on the district website by 5:00 p.m. February 20th, 2026. Furnish and install all work required for the Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) scope, including associated electrical scope, in accordance with contract documents including, but not limited to, the following: i. Selective Demolition 1. Demolish and remove existing units to be replaced. 2. Disconnect and "make safe" all HVAC components prior to demolition as required a. Drain down of all HVAC hydronic piping and systems b. Evacuation of all refrigerant from HVAC piping and systems 3. Removal and haul off all HVAC components as indicated per Contract Documents 4. Removal of existing rooftop HVAC equipment and ductwork as indicated. Cap existing curbs and ductwork as required. Coordinate with roofer for patching of other penetrations. 5. Include patching at all penetrations where this scope demolishes items but does not go back with new work. ii. General 1. Furnish and install all system identification 2. Furnish and install duct and equipment mounted access panels as required. 3. All roof, wall, and floor penetrations required. a. All core drilling/cutting and install sleeves for all floor, wall, and roof penetrations. b. Caulking, sealants, non-shrink grout and/or firestopping of all annular space around penetrations, required through non-rated and rated wall assemblies. 4. All vibration and seismic control and vibration and seismic isolation supports. iii. Testing 1. All inspections, tests, and certifications required for all HVAC systems, control systems, equipment, and material. 2. HVAC system testing and balancing a. Test, adjust, and balance the HVAC system 3. Start up, testing and owner training of all systems required including all factory authorized startups 4. Provide Contractor with all testing verification/paperwork c. Coordination i. Coordinate all fire alarm needs with existing fire alarm system ii. Confirm new unit size/weight with MEP Engineer. d. Insulation i. Furnish and install piping, ductwork, and equipment insulation and jacketing e. Controls i. Furnish and install the following: 1. Temperature controls and devices, 2. Interconnections and instrumentation required to connect to facility management system. f. Filtration i. Furnish and install all filter media at all locations including: 1. Initial set of filter media at all equipment during start up 2. One final set of filter media installed before test and balance begins. g. Equipment i. Furnish and install the following: 1. Packaged HVAC equipment with all contacts required to communicate with building fire alarm and control systems 2. Curbs h. Provide electrical scope as required, including all work noted on the electrical drawings associated with the mechanical units. i. Provide date in which contract must be approved for the following durations to meet substantial completion.
