Sealed bids are requested for the construction of Bagraft Street Improvements for The City of Baxter Springs, Kansas. Bidding documents, plans, and specifications are available for examination at the office of the City Clerk and may be obtained from TranSystems for a printing and handling fee. The Owner reserves the right to waive any informalities or minor defects and to reject any or all bids and to readvertise and rebid and/or negotiate with any or all bidders. Each bidder must deposit bid security with the bid in the amount of 5% of the total bid, subject to conditions provided in the Instructions to Bidders. The successful bidder will be required to deposit a Performance and Statutory Payment bond in the amount of 100% of the bid. No bid may be withdrawn within thirty calendar days after the opening thereof.
