The project involves paving the Town Hall parking lot and sections of Beechwood Ave within the Town of Cornersville, Tennessee. The parking lot project includes minimal grading and application of 2 1/2 inches of binder and 1 1/2 inches of top course asphalt paving for approximately 9,125 square feet at the Cornersville Town Hall. For Beechwood Ave, the project includes applying 2 1/2 inches of binder and 1 1/2 inches of top course asphalt paving for two road cuts and four feet of road widening. Bidders must comply with Title VI and Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and all related regulations and have one million dollars ($1,000,000) General Liability insurance. Bids may be withdrawn before the deadline but not for thirty (30) days after the scheduled closing. Verbal bids or bids received after the deadline will not be accepted. The Town reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive technicalities or informalities, re-advertise, accept any bid deemed in its best interest, discuss bid content after opening to obtain additional information, and negotiate changes in the bids.
