Amendment One (1) to the solicitation (W911QX26QA033) is to update the PWS. Also, adding additional information to address the questions received during the original solicitation phase. Please see attached updated PWS and solicitaion document. Q 1. Water quality of the feed water Standard ground water that quality doesn't meet drinking standards Q.2 The water quality standards needed to achieve at each location Water needs to meet drinking water standards set by EPA under the safe drinking water act Q 3. The treatment methods being employed at each location Conditioning of the water using a medallist eries automatic water conditioner Q 4. Any details on water treatment equipment to be serviced and maintained (manufacturer, models, quantity, etc.) - Please let us know if there is only one manufacturer or multiple. Also, what is the total for the equipment in all 16 locations Culligan medallist systems need routine quarterly maintenance to replace salt and filters as needed. 16 systems Q.5 What kinds of chemicals and commodities are being used Medallist filters and salt are being used Q. 6 How much water is currently being used at each location Routine usage at each site estimating 20-30 gallons a day Maintenance of water treatment systems located at Spesutie Island and Graces Quarters requires quarterly service on sixteen existing systems and associated control units. Quarterly maintenance includes providing all chemicals, feeder fills, filter changes, resin cleaning, filter rebedding, salts, chlorine solution mixing, and retention-tank blowdowns in accordance with Culligan OEM standards. Each visit requires full water testing, adjustments to maintain standards, and assessment of 30- or 55-gallon retention tanks, with replacement completed within one business day when Government-furnished items are provided. All services performed, test results, and recommendations must be documented and submitted in writing within five business days. Any system or component found below OEM standards must be reported the same day, and corrective action performed within one business day upon receipt of Government-purchased parts. If a system cannot be restored to OEM standards, a written recommendation for new installation must be provided. Emergency repair service is required four to seven times per year, with contractor response within one business day and repairs completed within one business day after Government-furnished parts are received. All work must comply with Federal, State, and local requirements governing disposal, installation, repair, and replacement. Work is performed Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., excluding Federal holidays, unless emergency circumstances require additional hours. Contractor personnel must meet all Aberdeen Proving Ground access, security, training, and background-check requirements, including completion of AT Level I training, iWATCH briefing, and submission of security forms for unescorted access. Personnel must comply with AR 190-13, AR 11-2, AR 381-2, identity verification requirements, and local installation procedures. All contractor-owned property brought on site must be clearly marked, meet OSHA and Army safety standards, and be removed at the end of the performance period.
