Description

Renovation and addition to a library in Cleveland, Ohio. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a library; and library.

The Cleveland Public Library is seeking qualification statements for architectural and engineering services for the renovation and potential expansion of one or more library branches as part of the second phase of the Facilities Master Plan. The project consists of interior and exterior improvements and renovations to five library branches, two of which may also include small additions. The selected firm(s) will be expected to provide services including program verification, regulatory review, cost estimating, design document preparation, bid and award support, permitting and review, requests for information, shop drawing review, progress payment/change order review, construction administration and post-construction services, as-built certifications, and other related services. Qualifications for the project include experience with libraries and public entities, experience with renovations, knowledge of ADA requirements, availability of qualified personnel, equipment, and facilities, past performance, and financial responsibility.
