The Public Works Department is soliciting proposals from consultants to provide civil engineering services to update the City's Master Plan of Drainage for the Anaverde watershed. Palmdale's storm drain master plan of drainage was first adopted on in 1988 and later updated in 1996. The 1996 Updated Storm Drain Master Plan identified capacity deficiencies in several areas within the Pearland Watershed. Over the years, several regional storm drain projects have been construction based on private development projects and capital improvement upgrades to the City's storm drain network. The purpose of updating the storm drain master plan master plan is incorporate all completed projects since the last master plan update into an updated storm drain compute model and master plan document, and to identify and prioritize future storm drain improvement projects for our CIP project list. Under this solicitation, the City desires to select a single consultant to review the City's existing drainage studies, create a new hydrologic model, and prepare a Drainage Master Plan Report outlining the findings and recommendations resulting from the study and analysis.
