Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Omaha, Nebraska. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.
City of Omaha is requesting bids from qualified companies, herein called Bidder, Contractor, Vendor, Supplier, or other pronouns used in their place, for all work and/or goods set forth in the specifications. SCOPE: This project involves the removal of existing concrete pavement, constructing concrete pavement, constructing ADA ramps, and temporary traffic control. Anticipated Notice to Proceed date: Monday, 7/6/2026 The City of Omaha is requesting bids from qualified companies for all work and/or goods set forth in the specifications. This bid has an SEB reserve. More information is available in the specifications/project manual. Non-registered SEB bidders may submit bids, but non-SEB authorized bids will only be considered if no bids from SEB authorized bidders are received. If a bid from an SEB authorized bidder is received, all non-SEB authorized bids will be automatically rejected. This project requires the submission of an Economic Sustainability Plan (ESP). The project also qualifies for optional apprentice utilization; contractors should attach the Apprenticeship Incentive Form (AIF) with their bid submission if utilizing this provision. A bid bond is required. The surety company issuing the bid bond must be licensed by the State of Nebraska and listed on the current edition of Circular 570 of the United States Department of the Treasury. Acceptable substitutes for a bid bond include a certified check, official bank check, cashier's check drawn on a national or state-chartered bank, payable to City of Omaha, or lawful money of the United States, or a United States Government Bond (negotiable). Letters of credit are not acceptable substitutes and will cause rejection of the bid. The bid bond amount is listed in the Attributes section. A copy of the bid bond or acceptable substitute must be uploaded in the Response Attachments section, and the original must be received by the City Clerk within seven calendar days of the closing date and time indicated. Question Deadline 02/24/2026 at 2:00 PM CT Bidders must submit bid questions online. Questions will be answered within one (1) day of the questions cutoff date/time.
