Tri-Axle Truck Rental for snow removal operations in Almonte Ward, Pakenham, and Clayton Villages as determined by the Operations Manager. Snow removal typically occurs for a 10-hour period (generally overnight) but may extend into the following morning depending on circumstances. Rental trucks may also be used for the removal of snow from municipal parking lots and residential areas during normal working hours if required. Contractors will be compensated with a minimum fee of three hours rental upon being called out and reporting to the job site. Compensation begins when the blower starts operating; travel time is not included. The call order for contractors will be based on a competitive process, with the lowest bidder who meets all conditions receiving the first call and subsequent calls proceeding in order of ascending rental rates until requirements are met.
