The magnitude of this construction project is anticipated to be between $25,000 and $100,000. This project is for the installation of an individual septic system, well pump, and water pressure system on Fee land located in Clallam County. The proposed septic system is to consist of 4-inch ASTM D3034 PVC gravity sewage transport pipe, an underground double sweep cleanout, a 1,000-gallon two-compartment concrete septic tank with effluent filter, a 1,000 gallon pump chamber with effluent pump (Orenco model PF100511 or equivalent, 0.5 HP) and controls, 3/4 -inch Schedule 40 PVC pressure supply and flush lines, continuous flush headworks, 1-inch air/vacuum release valves, and subsurface Netafilm Bioline dripline with approximately 750 square feet of dispersal area per County-approved design (Attachment: County Approved Septic Design - Haupt) and local, state, and Tribal regulations. The contractor shall remove the temporary well cap and appurtenances currently on the well, install a well pump, drop pipe, submersible cable, pitless adapter, metal well cap, approximately 155 linear feet of 1" SCH 40 PVC water line from the well to the existing home water stub-out, install a variable frequency drive (Aquavar SOLO2 or equivalent) in a standalone structure adjacent to the well head, install a 2-gallon pressure tank inside of an underground valve vault adjacent to the control panel structure, install buried electrical conduit to the home subpanel, and complete well and pressure system disinfection. The existing well log, pump test data, and list of existing well appurtenances for the home will be provided at time of solicitation. Further investigation of the site before and after bidding is the responsibility of the Contractor. Any permits are the responsibility of the Contractor. Work shall be performed according to the SOW, site plan, technical specifications, and Washington Water Resource Department (WWRD) standards, rules and regulations.
