Description

New construction of a fire / police facility in Pickens, South Carolina. Completed plans call for the construction of a 2,600-square-foot fire / police facility.

As of 2/20/2026 the project has been postponed. Full general construction services of a 2,600 SF pre-engineered metal building (PEMB) for an Emergency Services Facility at 124 N Catherine Street, Pickens, SC. The project delivery method is Design-Bid-Build. Bidders must obtain bidding documents from the listed source to be recognized as official plan holders. Bid security of not less than 5% of the base bid is required. The successful contractor will be required to provide performance and labor & material payment bonds, each in the amount of 100% of the contract price. All questions and correspondence must be directed to the architect/engineer. The agency will not accept bids sent via email. Bidders must follow all instructions as detailed in the provided documents.
