The selected vendor will provide labor, equipment, materials and tools to overlay approximately 38,000 square feet of pavement in area. o The contractor will reclaim/Grind existing asphalt and dispose it properly. o Rebuild top of catch basins/structure with brick and block as necessary. o Level and grade area to achieve proper pitch for drainage. o Install 1 1/2 "Binder course of bituminous concrete/hot mix asphalt and will compact and roll. o Install 1 1/2 "Top Course of bituminous concrete/hot mix asphalt and will compact and roll to a smooth finish. o Remove and reinstall existing cars stop after paving, align and re-pin as necessary. o Add new asphalt curbing where necessary for stability. o Contractor will line stripe the parking lot according with existent layout. o The awarded contractor while striping the lot must follow standards set by the DOT concerning space size and ADA compliance. o The project will be done off hours. o Contractor will obtain and submit all required permits. o Project needs to reflect Prevailing wages. o Contractor will provide police detail and reserve spots on the street to properly move heavy equipment in and out of the property during the project. o The selected vendor's employees must be CORI checked and cleared before the project starts. o After each day of work, the site will be clean and free of any objects, vehicles, etc., that might make parking difficult for tenants. No equipment will be stored on-site. o Contractor will be responsible for relocating the dumpster and move it back after the project is concluded. o No additional costs will be approved for commuting, fuel or other incidental expenses. The contractor may use facility water and electricity.
