Site work for an educational facility in Wareham, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for site work for a educational facility.
Replace damaged concrete retaining wall. Prospective bidders are required to do a mandatory site visit Scope of Work Dimensions of existing failed retaining wall are as follows, 10" thickness, 74" H, 32' W Excavate rear of both failed retaining wall sections. Demolish and dispose of both failed retaining wall sections. Drill and dowel existing footings for new wall and connection to existing wall. Create forms and pour for new retaining wall sections with #5 rebar. Install water scuppers for drainage Backfill wall Prevailing wage rates - See rate sheet below. Contingent on cost estimates Mandatory site visit Proposal to be submitted by two weeks after receiving this letter. 50% payment bond required - Per M.G.L. c. 30, 39M Add/alternate Provide separate pricing for installation of finished asphalt grade in replacement of top grass area above retaining wall. Area is roughly 40'x10' or 400 square feet. Price should include all work, equipment and materials used for this additional work. Refer to photos "Top Grass Area 1" and "Top Grass Area 2"
