Sealed bids are requested for the construction of a 60 x 60 Box Hangar and associated paving for airfield access. The project is for the City of DeQuincy and bids are to be received for a single prime contract on a lump sum and unit price basis. Bids must be accompanied by bid security and the successful bidder is required to provide Performance and Payment Bonds. Bidders must be licensed in the state of Louisiana. All contractors must comply with specific federal requirements including Buy American Preference, Civil Rights Title VI Assurances, Trade Restriction Certification, Disadvantaged Business Enterprise, Davis-Bacon Requirements, Debarment and Suspension, Lobbying and Influencing Federal Employees, and Procurement of Recovered Materials. The City of DeQuincy reserves the right to reject any or all bids. Interpretations or clarifications considered necessary by Engineer in response to such questions will be issued by addenda delivered to all parties recorded as having received the Bidding Documents. Questions received less than seventy-two (72) hours prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered.
