The project includes 246.8 cubic yards of concrete (Grade 4.0)(AE)(SA) and 28,830 pounds of reinforcing steel (Grade 60). Each proposal must be accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check, or bid bond, in the amount of five percent (5%) of the amount bid, as a guarantee that if awarded the contract the bidder will enter into a contract and provide bond as required. No bidder may withdraw their bid for a period of thirty (30) days after the date of opening bids. Further information regarding the work may be obtained by examining the plans and specifications at the County Clerk's office or the Neosho County Road & Bridge Director's office. Printed or PDF copies of the plans and specifications may be obtained from Cook, Flatt & Strobel Engineers, P.A. upon payment of $60.00, with no refund or return of documents.
