Question Deadline 03/24/2026 To receive consideration, such questions shall be submitted in writing to the Engineer at least 7 days before the advertised date for receipt of bids. LOCATION The work under this Contract will be located in the Butts County, Georgia as shown on the Drawings. The work to be done hereunder includes the furnishing of all necessary machinery, equipment, tools, labor and other construction means, and all materials and equipment required to perform all work as set forth and called for by the Plans and Specifications and including the placing of the entire project into satisfactory operation. The work will consist generally of the construction of approximately 14.28 miles of Full Depth Reclamation, leveling, resurfacing, widening, and patching along with all necessary appurtenances for a complete job. All work must be completed within 180 consecutive calendar days from the date of the notice to proceed. Bids must be submitted on Bid Proposal Forms furnished for that purpose, in accordance with the Contract Documents and the Plans and Specifications. Bid forms, plans, specifications, and contract documents are available for a deposit of $150.00 per .pdf set. Each bid must be sealed and accompanied by a Bidder's Bond for 10 percent of the bid amount, to be forfeited as liquidated damages if the bid is accepted but the contract and bonds are not promptly executed. No bids may be withdrawn for 60 days after opening. The right is reserved to reject any or all bids and to overlook informalities or irregularities in proposals.
