The City of Jackson is seeking competitive bids from qualified, insured landscaping contractors to provide routine grass cutting, trimming, and grounds maintenance for two(2) city-owned cemeteries. The objective is to ensure the grounds are kept clean, presentable, and respectful at all times. The contractor shall furnish all necessary labor, materials, and equipment to perform the following services: o Mowing: Grass shall be mowed to a height of [3.0 to 3.5] inches. All interior areas, fence lines, and perimeters must be maintained. o Trimming: String trimming is required around all headstones, trees, signposts, and monuments. Note: Care must be taken to avoid damaging stonework; any damage to monuments will be the contractor's financial responsibility. o Edging & Blowing: Grass clippings must be blown off all headstones, roadways, walkways, and parking lots. o Debris & Litter Removal: Prior to each mowing, the contractor must remove and dispose of all trash, fallen branches, and decaying matter from the property. o Seasonal Focus: A thorough clean-up, including leaf removal, is required in the spring and fall.
