Electronic bids are solicited for Project 260002, Guzzetta Hall/EJ Bridge Demo at The University of Akron. Bids must be submitted in accordance with the Contract Documents prepared by The Osborn Engineering Company. The project must comply with the current "State of Ohio Standard Requirements for Public Facility Construction" and any interim changes. Bids must adhere to prevailing wage rates and Equal Employment Opportunity requirements. The project is subject to the State of Ohio’s Encouraging Diversity, Growth, and Equity (EDGE) Business Development Program, which requires bidders to include EDGE participation information and achieve a 5.0 percent EDGE Participation Goal, calculated on the total contract amount. Bidders must indicate on the electronic Bid Form the locations where services will be performed, affirm compliance with Executive Orders prohibiting services outside the United States and purchases from or investment in Russian institutions or companies. Domestic steel use requirements apply. Bidders are encouraged to be enrolled in an approved Substance Use Prevention and Recovery (SUPR) Program. The Contractor is responsible for scheduling the project, coordinating subcontractors, and providing services identified in the Contract Documents. Contract Documents can be purchased or downloaded electronically. The estimated value for the general contract is $267,000.00.
