The work consists of Taxiway A and B Pavement Maintenance to achieve crack repair and seal coat application on the asphalt surfaces of Parallel Taxiway B, connecting Taxiways B1, B2, B3, and B4, and Taxiway A. Maintenance will be accomplished by: surface preparation completed by removing existing pavement markings, routing and cleaning pavement cracks, asphalt surface sweeping and removal of any surface contaminants that may negatively affect adhesion of sealant materials; pavement and crack repair by sealing cracks and patch areas; application of asphalt seal coat of the prepared existing pavement; and application of pavement surface markings. The contractor must pay the state or federal prevailing wage rate, whichever is higher, and adhere to the most stringent requirements. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids not in compliance with public bidding procedures and requirements and may reject any or all bids upon a finding that it is in the public interest to do so.
