Sealed bid proposals are requested for lawn care services for the right of way corridor on U.S. Highway 62 from Truck Plaza Lane to the interchange of US Highway 62 and US Highway 641. A copy of the scope and specifications for the project is available from the City Clerk at Calvert City-City Hall. After review of all bid proposals, a contract will be awarded to the most responsive and responsible bid proposal which submits the lowest evaluated price, unless all proposals are rejected pursuant to the Calvert City Procurement Policy. The determination of a "responsive and responsible bid proposal" will be made based on an investigation by the City, which may require production of a proposal company's credit report, credit history, or other documentation as deemed necessary. Criteria for evaluating proposals may include cost, value, quality of workmanship, quality of materials, reliability, experience, expertise, reputation, service, availability, location, and timeliness. Interested parties must prepare and deliver a sealed bid clearly labeled for the project to the City Clerk's Office by the stated deadline. The City reserves the right to reject any and all proposals.
