Description

Demolition, site work, paving and new construction of a bridge / tunnel in Bakersville, North Carolina. Completed plans call for the demolition of a bridge / tunnel; for the construction of a bridge / tunnel; for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and for paving for a bridge / tunnel.

The North Carolina Department of Public Safety Emergency Management Division and the Department of Transportation are requesting bids for standard bridge replacement on private roads located at 477 Gouge Cove Rd, Bakersville, NC in Mitchell County Any firm that wishes to bid as a prime contractor shall be prequalified as a Bidder or PO Prime Contractor prior to submitting a bid. Firms that wish to perform as a subcontractor to the prime contractor must be prequalified prior to beginning work on the project NC DOT - RFP D/B - Private Roads & Bridges - Standard Bridge Replacement on Private Roads Located at 477 Gouge Cove Rd Questions should be emailed 7 calendar days prior to the bid opening to Chad Loftis at celoftis@ncdot.gov. or Gabe Johnson at gljohnson@ncdot.gov .
