Answers to questions to be posted on TCSD webpage. 03/12/2026 3:00 p.m The purpose of this project is to remove and dispose of existing flooring and install new flooring in designated areas of Summit Innovations School, Davey Jackson Elementary School, and Wilson Elementary School, K-12 educational facilities. This work is intended to improve the appearance, safety, and function of the school environment and must be performed with minimal disruption to school operations. 1. Work will be completed in the following areas: 1.a Classrooms 1.b Hallways and corridors 1.c Administrative offices 2. Conduct a pre-construction walkthrough with the Facilities Manager. 3. Remove and properly dispose of all existing flooring material (e.g., carpet, VCT, tile, baseboard) and associated adhesives. 4. Prepare subfloor surfaces, including cleaning, patching, leveling, or grinding as necessary to meet manufacturer installation requirements. 5. Supply and install new flooring materials per district-approved specifications (e.g., LVT, carpet tile, rubber base). 6. Install new cove base and transition strips as required. 7. Maintain a clean and safe worksite throughout the project 8. Protect surrounding finishes 9. Dispose of all debris in accordance with local regulations. 10. Complete final cleaning and walk-through with Facilities staff. 11. Work must be completed between June 15, 2025 and September 1. 2025. 12. Weekend and holiday work is permitted.
