Furnish all labor, supervision, materials, and equipment necessary to perform complete daily grounds maintenance services. Provide all personnel and services required to maintain approximately six acres, including maintaining existing irrigation systems; trimming and clearance pruning of trees, shrubs, groundcover, and vines; mowing, edging, aerating, and removing thatch in turf areas; fertilizing plant materials; staking, trimming, and guying trees; and replacing landscape materials such as mulch, decomposed granite, and headers as needed. Provide weed, disease, and pest control--including vertebrate pests except commensal rodents--and prepare, apply, and report on all pest control materials used, including quantities, target pests, and application locations. Provide erosion control, remediation, and pollution prevention, as well as litter and debris removal, including graffiti removal. Clean pedestrian structures, site furnishings, site walls, pedestrian paving, exterior site lighting fixtures under fourteen feet in height, exterior way-finding and regulatory signs, roadways, parking lots, and parking structures. Provide project supervision and coordinate all activities with VA staff. Provide snow removal services on an on-call or as-needed basis. All services shall be performed weekly as needed during normal business hours, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., excluding holidays.
