The Work consists of supplying and applying herbicides to the GWWD Railway track ballast to control vegetation growth from June 15, 2026, until October 31, 2026, with the option for up to four additional years. The Contractor must acquire, complete, and submit to the Province of Manitoba’s Pesticide Use Permit and follow all permit conditions and requirements, including compliance with all related Manitoba Regulations such as providing public notice before starting. Work will be performed on an as-required basis, as authorized by the Contract Administrator or Users. The City is not obligated to purchase any quantity beyond its operational requirements and reserves the right to alter or terminate the Contract upon written notice. Bidders should note that extensions may not be exercised if the City participates in collaborative procurement initiatives with other governments.
