5.01 Completely demolish building on Lot 523 Plan 2011. All contents and debris are to be disposed of at the local Hamlet solid waste facility, while complying with all Municipal & Territorial Laws and Regulations. 5.02 Obtain and pay for all required permits including those from the Hamlet and Office of the Chief Building Official. 5.03 Remove the water, sewage tanks from property and dispose of accordingly. 5.04 Fuel oil tank to be emptied of fuel oil. Oil, tank and stand are to be disposed of in accordance with all applicable territorial regulations and municipal Bi-Laws. 5.05 Remove all material and debris from the site including cutting the piles foundations, providing topographic survey (Location) of the piles and filling in the pipes with sand/gravel Leave the site in a clean and tidy condition. 5.06 Fill all depressions in the soil caused by heavy equipment during the demolition with gravel. 5.07 Prior to the commencement of work the contractor shall submit to the NHC a copy of the insurance policy as described in the agreement, a copy of a valid business license and evidence of coverage under the Workers Safety and Compensation Commission. 5.08 All work is to conform to all applicable Territorial and Municipal Legislation, Policies and Regulations including the Department of Environment, Workers Safety and Compensation Commission and Office of the Chief Building Official. NOTE: o Remediation work/Hazardous Material removal has been completed.
