Unit numbers: 275 ABCDE (801 ABCDE - 10th St), 276 ABCDE (703 ABCDE - 10th St), 277 ABCDE (603 ABCDE - 10th St) Supply approximately 5 loads per unit (40 loads) / 350 cubic meters in total gravel Maximum gravel particle size to be 3/4" granular crushed stone. Approximately 5 loads of gravel shall be supplied and hauled to each unit. Consult with LHO prior to distribution for exact required quantity and location. Material shall be locally available, clean natural gravel material, free from silt, clay, loam, friable or soluble materials and organic matter. Inform the LHO of proposed source of gravel. If not what is specified, review with the LHO for acceptance prior to distribution. Should a change of material source be proposed, advise the LHO in advance of proposed change, to allow for review and/or acceptance. Acceptance of material source does not preclude future rejection if it is subsequently found to be unsuitable for intended use. All material shall be free of ice and snow. The LHO may have a representative on site to monitor the Contractor's work to ensure it meets the requirements of the Contract specifications. Gravel additions and deletions will be subject to a change order. Conform to applicable code and authority having jurisdiction for material hauling and distribution. Grade out all gravels around units and rear of building.
