Site work and paving for a road / highway in Sonoma, California. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.
In general, the work includes pavement rehabilitation and striping replacement on Fryer Creek Drive, Pickett Street, Nash Street, and Cooper Street within the City of Sonoma. The work includes asphalt pavement grinding, hot mix asphalt overlay, removal and replacement of pavement striping and markings, protection and adjustment of existing utility structures, traffic control, water pollution control, and other related work as set forth on the project Plans and Specifications. The allowed duration for completion of all work under the contract is forty (40) working days. Bidders must submit bids online through the City of Sonoma Planroom. All bids must include the entire Part II Proposal Forms, Bidder’s Bond, and any other necessary documents. Only online bid submissions are accepted; no hard copy paper bids will be accepted. Bidders must hold a Class A Contractor’s license under the laws of the State of California. The successful bidder and all subcontractors must secure a City of Sonoma business license before commencing work. The City Council reserves the right to reject any and all bids or to waive any defects or irregularity in the bidding.
