Site work for a water / sewer project in Ronda, North Carolina. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The work includes installation of 5,223 linear feet of 12-inch C900 PVC and 136 linear feet of 12-inch ductile iron pipe water line with all associated appurtenances, and installation of a 6-foot by 8-foot Pressure Reducing Valve Vault with all associated appurtenances. Bidders must show evidence of being licensed to perform the work as required by North Carolina General Statute, Chapter 87. Bid security in the amount of five percent of the Bid must accompany each Bid. For further requirements regarding bid submittal, qualifications, procedures, and contract award, refer to the Instructions to Bidders included in the Bidding Documents. The Owner encourages bidding by small, minority, and female contractors and bids from qualified disadvantaged business enterprises. The Owner reserves the right to waive any informality or to reject any or all Bids. Award will be made to the lowest responsible Bidder, taking into consideration quality, performance, and time specified in the proposals for performance of the Contract.
