The City of Anaheim ("City") Public Utilities Department ("APU") provides electric and water service to approximately 360,000 residents and 15,000 businesses located in Anaheim. The Central Purchasing Office ("CPO"), on behalf of APU, is issuing this Request for Proposal ("RFP") to qualified respondents. The primary objective is to procure electric distribution material that meet the minimum qualifications, terms, and conditions as outlined in this RFP and comply with the Scope of Work and Specifications as well as any and all Attachments herein. The successful proposer shall furnish and deliver the electric distribution material in the quantities required based on the agreed upon timeline. City may make awards to multiple respondents if it is in the best interest of the City to do so. City does not imply or make any commitment to purchase a specific quantity during the term of the agreement, the estimated quantities are for a one-year period, City reserves the right to add, change, or delete items. After selecting a successful respondent, the City will negotiate an agreement that substantially conforms to the requirements stated in the attached Model Contract. Any Contract between the City and the successful respondent would take effect upon execution by both Parties. The City of Anaheim is comprised of 13 departments and over 3,200 employees throughout the City. The City's core businesses are public safety, public utilities, public works, housing and community development, community services, and economic development. The Contractor is to provide Electric Distribution Material per the specifications attached hereto as Attachments B through D. Where specific manufacturers and part numbers are listed in the pricing proposal Line Items, only those manufacturers and part numbers are allowed. Substitutions or Alternates are NOT acceptable. If the manufacturer or Respondent has any exceptions (variations, deviations, deletions, additions, and the like) from these Specifications, they must state precisely what those exceptions are and any impact on form, fit, or function in its proposal. The City reserves the exclusive right to accept or reject those exceptions, and the City's decision is final. Therefore, the Respondent understands and acknowledges these requirements and conditions by submitting a proposal. All items must meet or better all applicable Federal, State, and local requirements and all applicable OEM requirements.
