The City seeks proposals from construction firms for reinstatement services for concrete cuts and concrete distresses and to maintain the associated City infrastructure. The work will involve reinstating mainly the sidewalks that have been removed by other City branches. The overall objective of this work is to repair these open utility cuts to keep them safe for pedestrians. The major areas of work include, but are not limited to: - Removal and replacement of sidewalks, pedestrian ramps, crossings, curbs and gutters, private driveways and walkways; - Repairs to concrete as described in the specifications; - Asphalt pavement overlay (gutter patching); - Traffic accommodations; and - Quality control.
