The City of Bishop, Texas requests Statements of Qualifications from engineering firms for possible loan and/or grant-funded waterworks system improvement projects through the Texas Water Development Board. The scope includes designing, planning, acquiring, constructing, purchasing, renovating, enlarging, equipping, and improving various waterworks system projects. Additionally, the City seeks proposals for professional administration services to assist in applications and implementation of contracts from the GLO's CDBG MIT-MOD program(s), covering construction, engineering, and grant administrative activities. Service providers may submit proposals for any or all activities listed in the RFP Scope of Work. Proposals must be received by the specified deadline, sealed, and properly marked. All qualified applicants will be considered without regard to race, color, national origin, sex, religion, age, or handicap. Small and minority firms are encouraged to apply. The contract is subject to EPA's Disadvantaged Business Enterprise Program, and a good faith effort to include M/WBEs is required. The City reserves the right to reject any or all responses, waive formalities, and hold responses for ninety days without action. Multiple contracts may be awarded at the City's sole discretion.
