West Central Middle School And High School Window Replacement - Windows/Doors Sealed bids are being requested from contractors for the West Central Middle School and High School Window Replacement at 215 W. South Street, Stronghurst, IL 61480, and 1514 US Route 34, Biggsville, IL 61418. The work generally includes window removal and replacement at select openings. Bids must be accompanied by a bid bond of 5% of the Base Bid, made payable to the Board of Education, West Central CUSD #235. The successful bidder will be required to provide a Surety Performance Bond and Payment Bond, each equal to 100% of the contract cost, within ten days after acceptance notice. Surety must be by a U.S. Treasury Backed company licensed in Illinois and acceptable to the Owner. The contractor pays the bond premiums. All work is subject to applicable Illinois and U.S. laws, including the Preference to Citizens (Illinois) on Public Works Projects Act, and the Prevailing Wage Act.
