Site work and paving for a sidewalk / parking lot in Hillsboro, Missouri. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot.
**As of March 23rd, 2026 this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for the award has not yet been established.** Work consists of paving, parking lot repair/resealing, and striping. Each bid shall include a five percent (5%) bid security in the form of a bid bond executed by the bidder and an approved Surety Company. All proposals must be submitted in a sealed envelope clearly marked "Campus Concrete Repair." The Owner reserves the right to award the contract to the lowest responsible bidder and to reject any and all bids and to waive any informality on all bids. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days. All bidders must provide a sworn affidavit affirming participation in a federal work authorization program and stating that the bidder does not knowingly employ anyc person who is not authorized to work in the U.S. The contractor must comply with current Prevailing Wage laws and other statutory regulations as referred to in the specifications. This project is tax exempt. A mandatory Pre-Bid Conference will be held. Jefferson College is soliciting proposals to lawfully contract for Campus Asphalt Repair on the Hillsboro Campus. Campus Asphalt Repair This project includes installation of asphalt in an area adjacent to Buildings & Grounds and behind the Veterinary Technology building, the resealing of the track around the soccer field, the resealing of the parking lot between the soccer and ball fields and the striping of that same parking lot. o B&G / VT: This surface will receive frequent heavy truck traffic accessing dumpsters. Lot is APPROXIMATELY 8,000 square feet and will require cleaning, grading, excavation and removal of spoils. Installation of rock as needed shaped and smoothed to provide consistent asphalt mat and proper drainage. Minimum paving thickness should be three inches of MoDOT BP-1 asphalt with fiber added. This portion would include installation of asphalt curbing as needed to control water run-off.
