As of March 20, 2026, project was awarded to Masonry Components Inc., awarded amount is $474,277.03. 3rd Street Reconstruction from Mulberry Street to Picotte Street includes removal of concrete pavement (4515 SY), installation of 8 PCC pavement (3590 SY), Concrete C&G Type B68 (1320 LF), 6 PCC sidewalk (7904 SF), and other miscellaneous and landscape items. Sealed bids are required, accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check, or draft in the amount of 5% of the base bid and all add alternates, or a 10% bid bond. Successful bidders must furnish a construction performance bond and a construction payment bond, each for an amount equal to 100% of the contract award, and bonds must remain in force until contract completion. The owner reserves the right to make the award based on the lowest responsive bid and to reject any or all bids and waive irregularities. Bids cannot be withdrawn after the opening time.
