Reference Number 0000413898 The City of Canton is soliciting "Request for Proposal (RFP)" from qualified developers with an established track record in residential real estate development. The purpose of this RFP is to solicit proposals for the development of affordable and/or market rate housing on land owned by the City of Canton. The City seeks creative proposals that will meet local housing needs while advancing key priorities, including permanent affordability, sustainable building practices, and innovative housing models. The City reserves the right to make a selection based solely on the proposal submitted without conducting a formal interview process. The successful respondent (the "Developer") will have the Property transferred to them "as is", along with other incentives outlined here-within. The Developer will be required to complete the project within twenty-four months of property transfer. The City reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to accept the proposal(s) deemed most beneficial to the City. The bidder is responsible for monitoring online for any official addenda.
