Demolition, site work, paving and new construction of a mixed-use development in Mississippi Mills, Ontario. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project; sidewalk / parking lot; road / highway; for the demolition of a road / highway; and for the construction of a road / highway.
Proposed works within the contract scope are divided into Part 1 Municipality of Mississippi Mills: County Road 29 Watermain extension and Part 2 County of Lanark: Almonte Street Intersection Rehab. Proposed works under Part 1 include watermain removal and installation, service replacements, earthworks and grading, and road reinstatement along County Road 29, Almonte Street, and within Gemmill Park. Additional works include the installation of two (2) pressure reducing valves (PRVs) on Euphemia Street. Proposed works under Part 2 include the rehabilitation of the Almonte Street intersection, including the removal and reinstatement of roadway surfaces, curbs and sidewalks, signage, and pavement markings, as well as the new construction of traffic signal infrastructure.
