The work consists of removing and replacing multiple barbed wire fences and wooden post-and-rail fences at designated campgrounds and lakes within the Manti-La Sal National Forest. Construction includes demolition and removal of existing fencing, installation of new posts, rails, and barbed wire fencing in accordance with the Schedule of Items and Statement of Work, and incidental reuse of existing gates where gates occur within fence segments being rebuilt. Mobilization is included as a separate line item, with bond premiums incorporated into that item. Fence sites containing both post-and-rail fencing and barbed wire fencing are treated as separate line items. Bolt sizing for wood rail installation shall follow the Statement of Work, which requires 3/8-inch bolts. No new gate hardware is required. Certain sites identified in attachments but not included in the solicitation, including the "Stuart" site and the Great Wall of Buckeye site, are excluded from the scope of any resulting contract. Work shall be performed in accordance with the updated Schedule of Items, attachments, and all amendments, with a contract start date of May 18, 2026, and a total performance period of 344 calendar days, ending April 26, 2027. Period for acceptance of offers The Offeror agrees to hold the prices in its offer firm for 60 calendar days from the date specified for receipt of offers.
