The Societe de l'assurance automobile du Quebec is soliciting bids for the acquisition of construction services as part of the contract for the repair of the central underground parking. The contract resulting from this call for tenders aims to carry out repair work on the central underground parking lot. This work will be carried out at the Company's headquarters and will take place between the months of May and October 2026. SUBMISSION GUARANTEE The Contractor must submit a bid security valid for 45 days from the date and time of the closing date for receipt of bids. This guarantee must represent at least 10% of the amount submitted. The guarantee must be in the form of a tender bond issued in favour of the Company by a company legally entitled to act as surety and this bond must comply with the provisions of the model bond provided in the annex. The Company retains the tender guarantee of the lowest compliant bidder until the time of conclusion of the contract. It also retains the tender guarantee of the second and third lowest compliant bidders up to 45 days or until the time of conclusion of the contract. PERFORMANCE GUARANTEE Before the conclusion of the contract, the contractor whose name will be retained will be required to provide a performance bond in an amount equivalent to 50% of the contract amount, provided in the form of a guarantee issued by a company legally authorized to act as guarantor, in accordance with the third paragraph of section 12 of the Regulation respecting construction contracts of public bodies. This suretyship must be issued in favour of the Societe de l'assurance automobile du Quebec and comply with the provisions of the bond model provided in the appendix. GUARANTEE OF CONTRACTOR'S OBLIGATIONS FOR PLEDGES, MATERIALS AND SERVICES Before the signing of the contract, the contractor whose name will be retained will be asked for a guarantee of the contractor's obligations for wages, materials and services in an amount equivalent to fifty percent (50%) of the contract amount, provided in the form of a bond issued by a company legally authorized to act as guarantor, in accordance with the third paragraph of section 12 of the Regulation respecting construction contracts of public bodies.
