Granger St & Lyon St Resurface CDBG and ADA S. Porter St & Jackson St as specified in bid document. Resurfacing of S. Granger St - Gratiot Ave(M-46) to Mackinaw St, Lyon St - Granger St to Gratiot Ave(M-46) and ADA Ramp Replacements on S. Porter St Gratiot Ave(M-46) to Jackson St & Jackson St - S. Porter St to Gratiot Ave(M-46) with pavement removal, cold milling, earthwork, aggregate base, misc. curb and gutter, HMA paving, sidewalks, ADA sidewalk ramps and restoration. Furnish labor, tools, equipment, and materials as required to perform the work as specified in the contract documents. General Requirements - Contractors License Required - Insurance Required - Prevailing Wage Required Bonding Requirements - Bid Bond 5 % Contract amounts totaling $100,000 or more will require a certified check, cashier's check, or surety company bid bond in an amount of five percent (5%) of the total bid to be submitted with the bid as security for the acceptance and execution of the contract. The successful bidder on a contract of $50,000.00 or more will be required to furnish surety company bonds as follows: First - A bond in the sum of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price running to the City of Saginaw to insure the construction and completion of the entire work according to the proposal and contract. Second - A bond in the sum of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price running to the City of Saginaw for the protection of the subcontractors and labor and material suppliers, according to the statute of the State of Michigan at that time in effect. The City of Saginaw reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids, or parts thereof, and to waive any irregularities in the bid except those specifically mentioned in the Sealed Bid Instructions.
