Reference Number 0000413931 Rio Blanco County is requesting proposals from qualified Architectural and Engineering (A/E) firms to provide professional design services for the 2026 RBC Fairgrounds Facility Improvement Project located at 700 Sulphur Creek Road, Meeker, Colorado. The selected firm will provide evaluation, design, and preparation of construction documents for priority improvements at the Rio Blanco County Fairgrounds. The Base Scope of Services includes architectural, mechanical, plumbing, electrical, and structural engineering services necessary to develop Schematic Design (SD), Design Development (DD), and Construction Documents (CD) for: o New restroom facilities serving the County Fair Office, both Exhibit Halls, and the Indoor Arena o ADA accessibility compliance upgrades o Code compliance analysis o Coordination with existing facilities and Fairgrounds operations Optional / Additional Services may include: o Evaluation of the Indoor Arena metal roof system and improvement options o Evaluation of Indoor Arena insulation and performance improvements o Evaluation of the County Fair Office kitchen and utility impacts o Design options for a permanent ADA-compliant lift and accessible seating platform within the Grandstands The intent of this project is to improve accessibility, functionality, durability, and long-term performance of Fairgrounds facilities while developing complete, biddable construction documents for future implementation.
