Site work for a water / sewer project in Harpersville, Alabama. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The project includes approximately 90 potable water service line excavations and material identification and related appurtenances at various locations in the Town of Harpersville. Bidders must obtain the bidding documents from the designated issuing office. Bid security must be furnished as specified. DBE documentation from the low, responsive, responsible bidder is required no later than 10 days after the bid opening. All participants must comply with all applicable federal requirements, including the American Iron and Steel Requirement and Build America, Buy America (BABA) requirements. The owner reserves the right to waive informalities or reject any or all bids and to award the contract to the lowest, responsive, and responsible bidder. All bidders must, upon request, submit a list of projects successfully completed in the last 2 years, with a similar scope of work and approximate construction cost. All bidders must comply with the Contractor's Licensing Law of the State of Alabama and be certified for the type of work proposed. Each bidder must submit bid security as specified. Bidders must display their State Licensing Board for General Contractors license number clearly on the outside of the bid envelope, and late bids will not be considered. No bid may be withdrawn within 60 days after opening.
