Site work and new construction of a fire / police facility in Bristol, Connecticut. Conceptual plans call for the construction of a two-story above grade fire / police facility.

Three years after two Bristol police officers were killed in an ambush, the City of Bristol, Connecticut has begun planning a two-story active-shooter training facility intended for police and firefighter training. A federal grant of $3.1 million has been secured, and total project costs are preliminarily estimated between $5 million and $8 million. The facility will serve local and regional emergency agencies and could open as early as 2028–2029 pending funding, land acquisition and construction progress.
