Site work for a water / sewer project in Clackamas, Oregon. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
This project includes the following work: transfer two existing services from a 24-inch main to an adjacent 36-inch water main, including new connections and abandonment of existing service connections; abandon the 24-inch CCP main in place following service transfers, including isolation/disconnection and filling with sand; restore the work site area to original or better condition, including grading, paving, erosion control, and other required measures. Bid submission is required via hardcopy at the specified time and place. Prospective bidders must acknowledge all sections of the bid documents and print and complete all required forms as part of their bid submission. All plan holders who download the contract documents must fill out the form with correct contractor information for the plan holders list. Each bid must be submitted on the bid form included in the bid package or issued by addendum and accompanied by bid security in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the total amount bid. The successful bidder will be required to furnish the necessary additional bonds for the faithful performance of the contract, as prescribed in the bidding documents. Each bid must contain a statement as to whether the bidder is a Resident Bidder, as defined in ORS 279A.120. The project is a public work covered by Oregon Prevailing Wages. Bidders must comply with all requirements of Oregon's prevailing wage laws and regulations. Clackamas River Water may reject any bid not in compliance with all prescribed public bidding procedures and requirements, and may reject for good cause any or all bids upon a finding of the agency that it is in the public interest to do so. Bidders must be licensed by the Construction Contractors Board or the State Landscape Contractors Board. The contract, if awarded, is to be awarded to the lowest responsive bid of a responsible bidder. The responsibility of all bidders will be determined in accordance with ORS 279C.375. The project does not contain asbestos abatement work and no special licensing by the Department of Environmental Quality is required for that purpose. Programs, services, and activities are open to all persons without regard to race, sex, age, handicap, religion, ethnic background, or national origin. Engineers Estimate: $100,000 to $150,000 *The value for this project is based on a financial range.
