As of April 16, 2026, the project was awarded to Cox Paving, with an awarded amount of $1,460,760.90. 2026 Fayette County Paving Program The Engineer's estimate is $1,678,522.00 Completion - August 13th, 2026 Bids are being solicited for the 2026 Fayette County Paving Program. Bids must be electronically submitted through https://bidexpress.com prior to the deadline, as no paper bids will be accepted. Bidders must be plan holders of record. Each bid must include a bid bond, cash, certified check, or letter of credit at 10% of the bid amount with acceptable surety, accompanied by Proof of Authority for the official or agent signing the bond. A Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond as per Ohio Revised Code Section 154.53(B) is required. Bidders must comply with prevailing wage standards, insurance requirements, equal opportunity provisions, and provide payment and performance bonds for 100% of the contract price. Contractors and subcontractors should use Ohio products, materials, services, and labor where practicable, and comply with Ohio Administrative Code Chapter 123, the Governor's Executive Orders of 1972 and 84-9. Compliance with prevailing wage rates as determined by the Ohio Department of Industrial Relations is mandatory. The engineer's estimate for the project is $1,678,522.00. No bid may be withdrawn within thirty days after opening. The Fayette County Commissioners may waive informalities or reject any or all bids.
