The project is expected to be awarded on April 28, 2026.** The work consists of repairing and resurfacing approximately 4 miles of roadway with asphalt concrete, located east of the City of Lodi. The scope includes items such as traffic control systems, preparing a water pollution control program, clearing and grubbing, shoulder backing, miscellaneous earthwork, penetration treatment, constructing driveways, hot mix asphalt application, installation and removal of asphalt concrete dikes, cold plane pavement, pavement repair, installation of reinforced concrete pipes of various sizes, and placing monument frames and covers. Bids must be submitted electronically through Bid Express; paper bids are not accepted. Bidders must register, create a Digital ID with Bid Express, and use the provided forms. Only one bid per bidder will be accepted. Bids must include a 10% bid security in the form of cash, certified or cashier's check, electronic bond (eBond), or a bid bond in favor of the Department. Payment and performance bonds of 100% each are required from the successful bidder. The contractor must possess a Class A or Class C-12 license at the time of contract award. All bidders are required to submit the Local Hire Information Form and Checklist. The project is subject to State prevailing wage requirements, and if federal wage rates apply and differ, the higher rate is required. The Board reserves the right to reject any or all bids and waive minor irregularities. Base Estimate Range between $1,102,650 and $1,353,200 *The value for this project is based on a financial range.
