The work includes improvements at multiple outfalls along the I & M Canal in Lockport, IL and includes but is not limited to the removal of sections of existing outfalls, placement of reinforced concrete end sections, placement of rip rap at various outfall locations, applicable project restoration and all incidental and collateral work necessary to complete the project all in accordance with the Specifications and Contract Documents. Prospective bidders are advised to carefully review the Plan, General Conditions, Special Conditions, Special Provisions, and Details. BEP participation requirements are required and shall be followed per the bidding documents. Pre-qualification requirements: Prequalification by IDOT will be required of all contractors and subcontractors on this project in the respective discipline(s) they will be responsible for constructing.
