Owensboro Municipal Utilities is requesting bids for the purchase of various quantities of 75’, 80’, and 85’ Galvanized and Weathered Galvanized Steel Class H4, H8, and H10 Poles, as outlined in the Pricing Proposal pages. All steel poles must conform to the attached Specifications for Steel Transmission Poles Manual and respective attached Drawings, or as otherwise specified by Owensboro Municipal Utilities (OMU). Only steel poles from OMU’s approved manufacturers will be accepted unless otherwise specified and approved by OMU. All poles delivered will be subject to OMU’s inspection after delivery, and OMU reserves the right to reject any poles that do not meet required standards, specifications, or are defective in material or workmanship. OMU reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive irregularities.
