The project proposes the replacement of two emergency generators for Department of Conservation and Recreation Quabbin Reservoir facilities located in Belchertown and Ware, Massachusetts. The work will involve the removal and installation of two new generator units complete with upgraded automatic transfer switches, remote monitoring systems, and fuel storage systems, along with electrical and site modifications as indicated on the drawings. The project is funded in part by the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA). Total Construction Costs Are Estimated at: $ 442,420.00 , and the work must be completed within 270 calendar days of notice to proceed. Liquidated damages of $500 per day will be assessed if not completed on time. The contract includes requirements of 6% for minority-owned business enterprises, 10% for women-owned business enterprises, and 3% for Veteran-Owned Business Enterprises.
