As of March 30, 2026, project was awarded to Bishop Construction Group, awarded amount is $492,041.37 This project is a turnkey, phased refurbishment of nine (9) lounges located on Floors 2-9 of the Ronald Blocker Educational Leadership Center (RBELC). Additionally, this project shall be performed in Four Construction Phases, lounges on no more than 2 floors under construction in each Phase (see key highlights). Provide all labor, materials, equipment, supervision, and services necessary to deliver refreshed, safe, code-compliant, fully functioning lounges. Key project highlights include, but are not limited to: o Installation of all new finishes, fixtures, casework, electrical modifications, lighting, plumbing connections, accessories, and any other work shown or reasonably implied by the design documents. o Coordination of all phasing, temporary protections, logistics, and safety measures to ensure adjacent floors remain operational and staff access to at least one fully functioning lounge within one floor of work area at all times. o Compliance with all OCPS requirements, permitting, inspections, and turnover documentation. o Select demolition and removal of existing doors, millwork, sinks, fixtures, countertops, hot water heaters, appliances, cove base, flooring, flooring glues, and wall coverings other than paint will be performed by others.
