Modernization of one passenger three-stop elevator and one service three-stop elevator at Building 4 of the Brockton VA Healthcare System Campus, including all associated construction, alterations, indicators, calls and notification systems, site preparation for access and staging, and work required to support the enclosed elevator machine room in the existing penthouse. Work includes demolition, removal of existing structures, installation of new components, and abatement of regulated building materials in accordance with the referenced report. All electrical, mechanical, and elevator work must be performed by Massachusetts-licensed contractors, including a Class C11 Elevator contractor, and all technicians must hold Certified Elevator Technician (CET) credentials. Contractor-furnished elevator inspectors must hold Qualified Elevator Inspector (QEI) certifications through the ANSI National Accreditation Board and the National Association of Elevator Contractors (NAEC). Work requires coordination with VA Facilities staff, obtaining necessary permits, maintaining a clean and safe site, and complying with all applicable Massachusetts DLS regulations, OSHA codes, and construction document requirements. All materials and shop drawings must be approved by the COR. The period of performance is 365 calendar days from the tentative Notice to Proceed in May 2026.
